Mathematical Explorations Survey
Fall 1995 - Endterm
After giving the endterm survey the first semester I taught this course, I decided that it would be interesting to give the same survey preterm as well as endterm to see if there was a significant change in the responses. I had planned to distribute the same survey that was distributed preterm on the last day of class. Unfortunately, the last day of class was canceled due to snow.
It is my hope that at some point in the future complete data can be collected in these situations so that quantitative changes in attitudes can be measured. For now though, the data will have to serve as anecdotal information about student views and perceptions of mathematics.
