SAT I PREP
This course is for students wanting to maximize their scores on the Scholastic Assessment Test. Math sessions will be devoted to reviewing math operations and increasing problem-solving strategies in arithmetic reasoning, elementary algebra, and geometry. The new math content will include topics from third-year college preparatory math. Verbal sessions are designed to increase proficiency in sentence completion, comprehension and reading for proficiency. The new test will include multiple choice questions on grammar and usage, short reading passages and a student-written essay. Required book: Cracking the SAT, published by the Princeton Review. This book is available at the Westfield State College Bookstore.
