Banacos Cup Standings

Congrats to the PlayMakers and Peg's Team USA

The James Banacos Cup (College Championship) is dedicated and named after Jimmy Banacos of Watertown, MA Class of 1972. Jimmy "The Little Greek" was Mr. Enthusiam. He was very active as a student at WSC intramurals, as well as in varsity track and lacrosse. In the spring of 1970, Jimmy suffered a major crippling injury in a lacrosse game and has been totally paralyzed ever since. Westfield State has not, nor will ver forget Jimmy!

Criteria for Winning the Cup:

1. Teams must demonstrate sportsmanship in all competitiom throughout the year.
2. Teams must uphold and follow all Intramural and College rules, regulations and policies.
3. Teams must keep the SAME TEAM NAME and atleast 1/3 of the same team members throughout the year.
4. Teams must receive points for the following sports and are suggested to participate in as many as possible.

    Completetion of a season	25
    Championship	14
    Runner-up	10
    Semi-finals	8
    Quarter-finals	4
    First Place, regular season	2
