"Climate Project" Presentation

Westfield State College to Host "Climate Project" Presentation - Climate Change and Westfield: The Health of our Residents, the Health of our Economy & the Health of our Region "An Inconvenient Truth"

Westfield State College will host a presentation of The Climate Project (www.theclimateproject.org) on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in Dever Auditorium.  Presenting will be Andrea N. Chasen, Esq., one of over 1,000 trainees of The Climate Project, a non-profit organization founded by Al Gore with the mission of increasing public awareness of the climate crisis at a grassroots level throughout the United States and abroad. The presentation will be a version of the slide show on which the Academy Award-winning film, "An Inconvenient Truth" is based, and a discussion of local and regional implications will follow.  All members of the public are welcome to attend.
