Free Online Enrollment Verifications

Westfield State College is very pleased to announce new online services available through the college's Web for Students, Student Services and Resources site. In partnership with the National Student Clearinghouse, WSC now offers students:

- the ability to immediately print official full-time/part-time Enrollment Verification Certificates to send to health insurers, housing providers, etc.;

- the ability to view enrollment history and previous Enrollment Verifications;

- the ability to check loan deferments sent to your lenders;

- the ability to link to real-time information on your student loans.

Students can access these new services now by logging into their regular WSC Online Student Services Account with their CWID and PIN. The National Student Clearinghouse link is located in the Student and Financial Aid area of Student Services and Resources. Enrollment Verifications will no longer be printed by the Registrar's Office.

Since 1997 the National Student Clearinghouse has been a contracted agent of WSC to provide enrollment and degree information to government agencies, the lending community, and employment and background check agencies. The Clearinghouse membership represents over 90% of American institutions of higher education. As their membership has grown, additional services have been developed and offered to schools, and their students, free of charge. Enrollment data will be available one week prior to the start of each semester and updated at the end of add/drop and regularly throughout the semester.
